The Temperature Monitoring Wrist Band Device uses a body temperature sensing thermometer IC, meeting the clinical thermometry specification ASTM E1112, and has a 0.1°C accuracy with a 16-Bit (0.00390625°C) temperature resolution.

The body temperature IC connects to a low power micro controller IC which drives a visual output, displaying a 3 color status state. Green indicates approx. 37C (Normal body temperature). Red indicates the body temperature has exceeded normal body temperature aka a "fever". Orange indicates a body temperature reading that is outside normal human body temp specification. This color alerts that an inappropriate reading has occurred. The entire device is contained in a comfortable wristband apparatus.

Temperature data is also accessible through your smartphone via Bluetooth using the SafeBand application.

Note: For optimal accuracy, the wearer should acclimate the device via direct skin contact with their body for approx. 2 min. to achieve higher accuracy.
